Windows on a Mainframe

I was just talking about this with a couple of coworkers at lunch the other day: Windows on a Mainframe.  Of course the hook for this article is "Windows", but the hypervisor supports x86 in general so Linux, FreeBSD or Hackintosh are all possibillities.
